You might have heard reported in the news that the horticultural industry in the EU and UK is facing significant plant shortages. This is predicted to continue from spring into the summer.
A perfect storm with ;
• Impacts from Covid 19
• Stay at Home - Great looking gardens
put exceptional pressure on stock
• Brexit - Higher costs & fewer imports
• It has been wet and cold setting back
new growth
• Trees and large shrubs - It takes longer to
bring on with new stock
Please bear with us -We are working hard to keep the nursery stocked!
We have long relationships and more suppliers than before.
Stocks of herbaceous plants and shrubs are improving.
Our recently potted bare root trees will be
available soon.
We are securing plants and materials by
forward ordering.
